Arrow LTx & LSx Cylinder Head Cores Wanted

We're looking to pick up a few more sets of cores...

Specifically, any LT1, LT4, LS1, or LS6 casting will be considered. Also, used stock components aren't worth (to us anyhow) what they'd cost to ship, so bare heads are preferred. One could likely sell stock components separately for $30-75 depending on the condition.

What we cannot have is overheated cores! If your heads came off because you lost a head gasket, etc., then we simply cannot use them. Additionally we'd prefer to not have to remove broken bolts etc. from exhaust holes. If we do, it isn't a huge deal, but bolt holes that have been drilled out by hand will oftentimes require us to weld, remachine the hole, and then re-mill the exhaust flange... so none of those either please. Lastly, we'd prefer un-molested castings with no porting

Regarding payment...

In the past we have had many people bring/ship us cores that were damaged or unuseable, some knowingly & some inadvertently. After we agree on a price, we will mail you a shipping label to ensure that we cover all costs. Having the label in hand, you will know for sure the tracking # and be able to tell when we receive them. If your cores are as described, we'll send you a company check within two days of receiving them. If there does happen to be an unexpected issue with your castings that calls for repair, and we cannot agree on a price, then we will ship them back to you at no charge so that worst case scenario, you spend nothing but a few minutes shipping them. We realize some may have reservations regarding this arrangement, but we have done a great deal of business on this board, and currently advertise on it. As an advertiser here, our reputation is extremely important, and not coming through as described above would do far more harm than managing to swindle someone out of a set of $200 cores would ever be worth. Of course that doesn't take into consideration honesty, and the fact that we need to be able to sleep at night

If anyone is still interested in getting some $ for parts laying around without having to waste time searching for a buyer, then please contact me at phil@ advancedinduction.com (remove space after @). For cores w/o components, we're wanting to find something in the $200 range, and $200-235 range for LSx's. Of course LT4's and the more desireable LSx castings are worth more, and we can negotiate something there .

Pictures are always nice

Thanks guys

To the guys who've sent stuff, your $ should arrive shortly, thanks very much!

To anyone else, we could still use a few more sets, so if you've got anything laying around, send an email my way & we can work out a price etc. .

Thanks guys,

I have some 6.0 bare castings taken off a 02 truck that spun a rod bearing. They are casting #317. Send me an email or pm what you will give for these.

Just a quick note...

We could still use a couple more sets of LS1's, and we're always open to LT1 cores...

Send those pics if you want

Also, Smoke was excellent to deal with! He shipped when he said he would, the heads arrived in perfect condition as described, and he was even nice enough to mention that we paid him

Thanks guys!

Annnnd now we find ourselves selling more LT1 cores than we expected... so we could use 5 or 6 sets of those if anyone's wanting some $

I'd like to find a set of 92-93 "374" LT1's as well if anyone has a set FS...

Thanks!

What exactly are those, Phil? They're not the 'lightweight' castings, are they?

Just curious.
