Last-ditch effort, looking for 10-bolt around NC
I'm about to drive 6 hours to GA to get one with 2.73's in it. If there's one around NC, let me know. I'm leaving Friday morning to get the one w/2.73's

I have (2) 3.23 posi disc rearends on my trailer, complete caliper to caliper, ready to go. They both have ABS but no TCS, out of '95 or so cars. I'm asking $225 + shipping for one of them.
LMK....I'm in SC just south of Charlotte. I'll be happy to take pictures of them and answer any other questions you may have, I'm off starting Friday and all of next week.

Re: Last-ditch effort, looking for 10-bolt around NC
The rear I'm looking for is $45 if I go pick it up, and I'm getting some 4.10 gears to go along with for $55 shipped.
I'm just tying to avoid the drive right now. If someone has a working rear end (4.10 preference) for ~$100, I'll take it. I cannot justify paying $125 for a rear end that is not in working condition (only because I'm already looking at one for $45 that does work).
Let me know. Tomorrow is D-day.

Re: Last-ditch effort, looking for 10-bolt around NC
Let me ask you this: Are you planning on installing the new gears yourself? If not, you're looking at another $200-400 for a gear install on top of the cost of the rearend. We all know 3.23-4.10 and up rearends are "good" so I don't see why you think you can get one for almost nothing..
Good luck with your search.
