Trailer hitch for Firebird
Re: Trailer hitch for Firebird
I took measurements of the hitch. I've had a couple of requests on shipping estimates. The hitch is approx 42"x10"x20" and I'm guessing around 30lbs (sorry, we don't seem to have a working scale in the house). UPS.com has given me estimates of approx $18 for midwestern zips and approx $19 for east coast zips (no requests yet from west coasters).
One member asked if I had a wiring harness to go with the hitch. I looked and do not have the wiring harness anymore. I did find while looking for the wiring harness a drawbar and ball that will fit this hitch. If you do not already have a drawbar and ball, I will include the bar and hitch combo for another $10. I'm pretty sure that both the drawbar and ball each run about $10 so this can save you some further cash.
I have posted pictures of the hitch to a website but it is not a public site so you need an invite to view the pics. I'm pretty sure I've sent an invite to all who have requested pics but if I have not, PM me with your email and I'll send you an invite to view the pics.
Oh, and I may not be selling the hitch afterall. Instead I may find out where "the_tight" lives and sneak up some night and install it on his car when he's not looking. Then we can all point and laugh at him and call him "stupid".
Thanks,
