I dont know if you saw my post about getting scammed, but i got ls1 BRAKES AND GOT THEM ON MY CAR AND ONE OF THE SPINDLES IS BENT (sorry about caps). All I need is the spindle portion, do not need the hub and ABS....Is it Guaranteed to be straight and what side is it? Because of the Bent one on my car, I basically cannot drive it at all.

here is the post about me getting a bad spindle. The front end shop said i need a left spindle, so I guess that is the side I am looking for.

Ok the term spindle and knuckle are often misused..

The Knuckle is the thing that gets bent. THe lt1 knuckles can be used for your ls1's but u have to cut the ears off with a hack saw.. Takes about 5-10 minutes per knuckle.

The spindle is the actual hub/abs assembly,, the circle thing with the lugs attached to it. I have both LT1's and only 1 LS1.

The Shift **** looks great. Its not a cheapy. Its black leather, same black as the stock shift ****. heres what it looks like. Mine is the one at the top, in the middle. Leather with carbonfiber.
http://www.jcwhitney.com/webapp/wcs/...-1&PID=1100000

Good for 25 horses!!

The 440 is flywheel hp based on a 12.5% drivetrain loss.
Cars got Lloyd elliot heads, xe230/236 cam, 1.6 rr, CSI pump, Long tubes, 3 inch y pipe with high flow cats, borla exhaust, underdrive pulley, 52mm throttle body, larger MAF ends, Morosso Cold air, 160 stat and 180 fans, 1 le drive shaft, tuner cat tune, port matched intake, tb bypass, 6 speed.

I calculated the cats to be good for 430rwhp before they start to sap horsepower... Since i dont have 430 to the ground im fine..

the spindle is the part that holds the caliper(the top right rusted peice in the picture of this ebay auction http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2456479201 ) that is a spindle, is or is this not what is for sale by terms of the "ls1 spindle"?????

so if it is a ls1 spindle that you have forsale i will buy it...i just need to know if it is the RIGHT or LEFT, passenger or driver side spindle?????

no those are knuckles.

U can use the knuckles but the LT1's u need to cut the ear off and i'd want to sell them as a set.

Yes, the proper term for our cars is the Knuckle. They are called spindles when the hub is Incorporated into them, but they are the same thing basically. The part with the ABS sensor inside and the wheel bearing and lug studs and all, it is called the Hub/Wheel Bearing Assembly.

THE LS1 HUBS AND LT1 HUBS ARE IDENTICAL!

I need a Left LS1 Knuckle/Spindle to replace the bent one I got from Tom Connell.

So, I can use the LT1 Knuckles if the Ear is cut off? I have never heard this, but I may investi\ate it further. That would mean that I can modify them and make them LS1 ready for someone else! Once I have an Extra LS1 spindle I will make this happen.

Ok just to let everyone know.. nobody has said for sure "yes i want them" "where do i send the check to" so they are still for sale for who ever pays the first .... if u havent noticed the price is dirt cheap so its not that hard of a decision if u want them..

Ok lets clear this up...
Spindle (spin-dle)
spin as in rotation/spinning/motion.
dle as in the last syllable of bundle/assembly/group/many parts.

Spindle - rotating/spinning bundle/assembly.

If u look at the knuckles in the picture u can see a hole where the spindle inserts into the knuckle.. and u can also see where the caliper mounts to the knuckle. the knuckle is what bends..

My knuckles are not bent.
