Anyone that thinks getting a Working CD Player for $37 delivered is a bit naive. ( OK,..... a LOT naive !! ) NOBODY will sell a working CD player for $37 delivered ---- NOBODY !

There is no big deal here, UPS insured the package automatically, so bring it back to them in the box and make a claim. They will probably refuse to honor the insurance since you have never mentioned any damage to the box - but it's worth a try.

Or - just take it as a loss. You only lost $37 and thetas a very small amount to learn the same lesson that others have had to learn by losing so much more than that to sellers that were a complete fraud !!

When I buy electronics over the net I do not send ANY $$ to the seller unless he can produce a picture of the item while it is working,....... I don't care if it's in a car or on a bench. The same applies to electrical parts I sell.

There is the possibility that ANYTHING you buy thru the mail will be damaged when it arrives ----> Fact of life. In the future you will be clear to other sellers that you want the package insured and how to deal with damaged items !!!

P.S. $37 is a still decent price for a serviceable CD Player !!!!!!!

You are VERY gullible to believe that you would get a working CD player for $37 delivered. It's that simple. I don't care what the seller told you,....... You should have known better.

Did you ask for pictures to assure yourself that the he even had a CD Player to ship and wasn't a total fraud ?? Did you ask him to pack it carefully ? Did you ask about insurance ??

I'm sure you will be more careful next time. $37 is a small price to pay to lear a valuable lesson. I would ask for a refund too --- but wouldn't actually expect him to send it to me. I would hope so, but not expect it !!

P.S. I've got this real nice bridge for sale --- > cheap too !?!?! Interested ??

No,.........not a cop !! But I did buy that bridge from 'Buddy' the ex-mayor of Providence !!

Don't think I can't feel your pain dude - but what is your best option,........ ship him the radio back (for $15) then have him send you a little $$ back. Even if he sent the whole $37 ( & HE SHOULD !! ) you had to spend an additional $15 to ship the radio back to him. IMO ----> Screw that aggravation !!!!!! Making other people take notice was worth the $$ you already spent on this deal.

I have gotten stuff in this exact condition and know exactly how you feel. I also like to play the 'devils advocate' from time to time !!

He ripped me off over a year ago. I offered him $20 for some black painted hood inserts (the pieces that bolt in underneath the hood that are painted like the rest of the hood), to put in my silver hood.

I specifically told him I DID NOT want those small flimsy black "grill" type things that clipped into the hood inserts.

So, what do I get in the mail? The flimsy black plastic things, for $20. I asked for my money back, and offered to send the pieces back, and all I got was a cussing out. Don't know if the thread is still available or not...

I obviously don't know what happened with him this time, but I know he has been dishonest and unwilling to make things right in the past. I told him that it would come back around and I see it probably has.
Long time no chat, first off I sent you Camaro hood vents (the ones that screw into the hood) without the flimsy black inserts , I neven even had the inserts to send you .So make up something different. So Im not sure what your motives are for posting. You sent me the $ and I sent you the parts. You were saying that they were scrached and you were going to Zaino them. That was the last i heard from you.

Hi. I sincerely apologize, I had the wrong person. Someone else on here sold me the flimsy inserts, after I had agreed for the others.

I removed my first post.

Sorry again, I hope you understand and accept my apology. FWIW, yes the ones you sent were scratched pretty good in some places, but it's not noticeable unless you're a couple feet away...
