well Slomofo i hope after reading this you take care of this issue.

Here is what happened,
I bought the ls1 brake kit from SLOMOFO AKA Tom Conell in which i paypaed him the money. The parts were dropshipped from Redline used auto parts in Arkansas i have recieved the parts this is not the issue. After recieving the parts i got a letter in the mail stating that the money for the parts had been withdrawn from thier paypal account so basicslly the parts were not paid for. I contacted slomofo about this and basically got a short answer saying thier was no problem with my payment. well i called the company and talked to them. They said the transaction was disputed after the parts were sent and the money was taken back because the parts had not been shipped like i said i recieved the parts and i also let Slomofo know i recieved the parts. even put a good seller thread out. so now what is happening because the only adress they have is mine they are sending the info to a collection agency against me even though they said they hate to do it because they know the situation, but they have to protect thier business, cant really blame them . i have perfect credit and this is really going to screw me up here because i am getting out of the army soon and will be planning to buy a house. Tom this is not how i do business this is wrong man. I wish i had the money to send them because i would just because it is the right thing to do. I really hope this hits home with you and you do the right thing and pay these people.

Do you stilll have all the emails you exchanged? Cause at least then you have proof. Plus I'm sure Paypal has records. I dont think you have anything to worry about.

 

Who did you buy the parts from? Is this slomofo the name of a company? or individual?

Sadly this isn't something that is going to stop without some kind of change. It is so easy for someone to scam people on here, change their username, wait a month and do it again. I was screwed awhile back and filed numerous complaints with different agencies and police offices and nothing happened. Its frustrating to see people walk into these transactions but there isn't an easy answer to stop it right now.

Im not claiming that i know the full story behind this case, i am merely speaking of all the scammers who have recently appeared.

 

this is 1 of those times where knowing or hireing a HACKER would be great. get his comp. hacked into...find all about him,where he lives...etc. etc.

I KNEW IT! Does anyone here remember what an ******* this guy is? He was Teal95Z. Do you know how many times he was banned from here for all kinds of reasons? Tons. He pissed off MANY very respectable members of this site. He basically pissed in the faces of good people that everyone here admires that offers good advice to help out. He was banned over and over again but he keeps coming back under a new user name. He is not even supposed to be here, I don't know why he is.

Yeah, but another issue is that he gouged you. What a selfish jerk!! He is not supposed to be doing that here without paying advertiser rights like everyone else (but isn't he supposed to be banned anyway??). Instead of helping people he is reselling to them. He bought on ebay and them sold them to you at a HIGHER price so he could get his profit. He has been doing this alot to a lot of people here who think that are buying from him. So much for helping out this community! Not only that, but how can he accurately describe the condition of the parts he is selling if they are not even in his posession?

He paid for the parts and then cancelled the paypal transaction to the company he was drop shipping from?

Yeah BUSINESS. He is acting like a business trying to be a reseller of parts but makes it LOOK like he is helping people out but he is really just gouging them. When people would call him out and post what he was doing, he would delete his thread so no one saw what he was up to. There is proof this happened, other people posted it. Anyone who wants to do "business" with this guy from now on better do a search, this is not the first time someone has had problems with him. Some deals go good, but looks like ther truth comes out again.

He kept bumping it to the top over and over and over again at least once a day. Then I make a post calling him on it and then he stops bumping it to the top. Why did he only stop after I called him on his scam? Maybe he sold them to someone who didn't think to do a simple search on ebay or maybe he doesn't like people busting him for being shady. I don't know why he didn't delete that one like he deleted the others.

predator I am sorry to hear of this happening. I think I tried to warn you but that happens. It pisses me off to see someone screwing over someone else here. He is screwing people by reselling parts and not telling them. He is screwing this site because the advertisers have to pay to be honest while this guy is dishonest for free. He USES this site and he USES the members here to line his pockets. He is not helping ANYONE but HIMSELF. Tell me.......what does he to to actually help and support this community?? NOTHING! It is clear he is only trying to support HIMSELF and look what happens!

You watch, he will come back with some "not my fault - I didn't do anything wrong - people do it all the time so that makes it okay" excuse just like he did in that BIG thread I linked to above. Well it isn't going to work this time.

hey guys thanks for the support this will all work out one way or another maybe the right thing will happen and restore some of my faith in mankind with the things i have seen in the last 10 years in the army i have pretty much lost faith in mankind
