heads,cam and rods FS
ok i have a set of le3 heads. they have rev valves 1.57 int and 2.05 exh with new a larger seats. they have a set of the cmotorsports 918 springs. they are equal to the comp 987s. i will tell you that cmotorsports have some trouble with the 612s but i dont recall any trouble with the 918s. but i have a set of k motion 800s (k-800) to go on them for the cam.
now the cam is a joe overton cam is a 240 248 with a 108 lsa and a 570 lift. this cam is alot more aggressive than the old le3 that he made. it will need alot of tuning. he said with these heads it should make 450 rwhp though a 6 speed.
now back to the k-800 springs. to give you an idea of the cam design the springs have to be set up at a 1.820, becuase the ramps on the cam need 180#s on the seat and about at least 450 open.
now to the person who buys them. the retainers and locators and locks that are on the 918s now, will work with the k-800s. and the only reason i havent put them on is because i dont have anyone around here that i trust to do it right.
