I have been building engines for myself and friends for 20+ years. I had this motor in my garage and thought I would build it up and sell it.

Read below.

1975 350 CI High Nickel Camaro 2 bolt main block casting # 3970010
• Hot tanked, bead blasted, corrosion treated
• ARP Main stud kit installed
• Mains line bored
• Cylinders bored and honed .030” oversize (355 ci)
• Block CBN decked .010”
• New Clevite cam bearings installed
• New Brass freeze plugs installed
3932442 casting cast crankshaft turned .010” under on main and .010” under on rod journals
Forged factory 5.7” connecting rods resized with ARP rod bolts installed
Speed Pro Hypereutectic High Performance flat top .030” oversize pistons pressed onto rods
Rotating assembly custom balanced for maximum performance
King .010” oversize main bearings – hand fit and clearance checked
King .010” oversize rod bearings – hand fit and clearance checked
Sealed Power Moly pistons rings – all gaps checked (32 rings)
Crank end play and rod side play checked
Crane Cams Energizer Saturday Night Special camshaft 226I/226E duration @ .050 lobe lift
Crane Cams High Performance Hydraulic lifter set
Crane Cams Energizer hardened pushrod set for use with guideplates
Crane Cams Roller tip extra long slot rocker arm set (Valve lift is .501” intake and exhaust with this ratio)
Crane Cams cam lock plate kit with bolts
Cloyes True Roller timing chain set
Camshaft degreed in and set “straight up” with no advance
Melling high volume oil pump
Melling oil pump screen
Melling oil pump drive shaft with steel collar
Oil pump screen clearance with oil pan tested before screen pressed into oil pump
ARP oil pump stud kit
Deck height checked at .014” down (piston to deck measurement)
Fel Pro Permatorque Head gasket compressed gasket thickness (CGT) = .039”
Piston dish = 5cc
Bore = 4.030”
Stroke = 3.48”
Compression ratio with the above numbers checks out at 10.04 to 1
Transdapt Chrome oil pan
Summit Racing Chrome timing chain cover
Mr Gasket Chrome timing tab for 8” balancer
New take off Chevrolet ZZ4 crate motor 8” high performance degreed balancer
Mr. Gasket anodized balancer bolt kit
Pro Topline Vortec heads (great flowing heads!) assembled with:
• Swirl polished stainless 1.94” intake and 1.5” exhaust valves
• 5-angle valve job
• CBN finished deck
• High performance double valve springs .550” lift capable
• Chrome moly 7-degree valve spring retainers
• 7-degree valve spring keepers
• 3/8” screw in rocker arm studs
• Hardened pushrod guideplates for use with hardened pushrods
Holley cast aluminum polished centerbolt valve covers for Vortec heads
Professional Products Power Plus intake manifold for Vortec heads (idle to 5500 RPM range)
Stainless steel engine bolt kit (all external bolts stainless with stainless washers)
New grade 8 head bolt set with hardened washers
Every bolt on this motor was torqued to the proper specification
Every clearance was check for proper specification
Rocker adjustment set per Crane Cams instructions
Oil system pre-lubed on the stand – 60 psi for 5 minutes – no leaks
Rotated crank while pre-lubing engine until every rocker was oiling nicely
Ran the motor on a test stand for 30 minutes to properly break in the camshaft and test for leaks or other problems. None found! Video available, let me know what size your e-mail can recieve.

Price $2600 – Paypal is OK but the price is 3% higher to cover the costs of Paypal.
Local pickup is fine – Atlanta, Georgia. Crating and delivery to freight carrier is free but the actual freight costs will be additional.
