Just a PM that was sent to me from black cloud, I think that I hit a nerve.

I SUGGEST YOU SENT THE MAN HIS MONEY FOR A F(*)ED UP PCM THAT YOU SOLD TO HIM, WETHER IT BE YOURS OR SOMEONE ELSES STUFF, YOU POSTED IT. IF YOU WOULD HAVE SOLD THIS TO ME, YOU COULD BET THAT I'D BE ON THE WAY DOWN TO JOHNS ISLAND ALREADY. IF NOT, I'D SEE YOU UP IN DARLINGTON AT THE ANUAL SCFY&B SHOOTOUT. NO THREAT, JUST FACT.

Black cloud. Do what is right here and just refund the guy $50 for the Laptop or give him a full refund and sell the computer under what you now know it has (PII). Even if you thought it was a PIII, it was not and it would just be moral of you to give the guy an honest refund. All he was asking is $50, which would have been a lot better than a tainted name! I am sure it is too late to save your Sellers Rep, but at least you can do whatever you can to make this right.

i told blackcloud what i think he should do on scfyb.com. I think oldschools $50 refund is reasonable.

Reguardless, i dont think oldschool can do **** if blackcloud dosent refund him any money or anything. He is basicially S.O.L unfortunantly. One of the reasons i wouldnt pay alot of money over the internet for something i cant physicially see first.

 

With that kind of attitude I won't buy from him.

 

The IFCC is a joke. I got ripped off from some scumbag on Ebay for $280.00 and filed a complaint with them but never heard back from them. They didn't do jack for me.

 

That's just what I was also thinking.
I'm glad now that he never did call me back bout the converter he was "selling"

Well I haven't posted in a while since I've been in communication with John Leach AKA black cloud tonight he sent me back some money to cover the difference of a pII and a P III he also is going to help me get the software working. He also is trying to line up a pentium III laptop from one of his friends for me. Thank you John for working with me!

Thanks again to John and everybody else! My faith in mankind has been restored & I'm not talking about the wrestler either.

 

im glad to hear its resolved. whatever the purpose of the machine the simple fact of this whole post was that the buyer bought bought a laptop that was adevertised as a PIII with 500mhz and a 14" screen. what he got was a PII 386mhz with a 13" screen so either the seller was lying or honestly didnt know. either way its false advertisment and the sellers responsibility to make it right. granted, there was nothing that honeslty could have been done (legally) since all of this was online but it was a flat out false advertisment. im glad the seller decided to do the correct thing (whether he has help others before, is in a wheelchair etc.) because this got way out of hand. but having to take it this far is unreasonable, this should have been corrected as soon as the buyer got in contact with the seller about the error.

well life isnt fair but at least justice has finally been achieved...and remember BUYER BEWARE.

 

As I have stated before I'm not in a wheelchair.I'm permanently diasabled and on medicare.The odds are I could be in a chair somewhere in the future depending on abuse.
I'm just trying to live my life as best I can.
I've corrected the problem with Oldschool69 and I'm doing my best to help him with his car tuning.
I know I'm ruined on this site but I don't think it's fair that no one will help me with my questions.

As for you other schmucks out there trying to stick someone, I hope you get whats coming to you!!! Rule #1 ... ALWAYS be honest when selling or trading!!!!!!!

 

well thanks from everyone that buys and sells online black cloud. but i still feel this shouldnt have gone this far. as far as your questions which ones are you referring to? id still love to help out any way i can. and if that camaro in your sig has anything to do with you you can tune my car anyday!!!

 

Just an update,

I just sold some pacesetter headers to black cloud, and I had no problems with him. We talked several times on the phone, met half way, agreed on a lot of things, and was a great person to deal with.

I'm sorry things got out of hand here, but there is no hard feelings between he and I.
