Car Audio, Phoenix Gold 2/3 Octave EQ, Nice!!
Looking to sell my Phoenix Gold 2/3 Band Graphic EQ, model EQ215x. In box, with extra accessories. This is also an electronic crossover. This is top of the line. One input, and THREE outputs. It has it all, even the remote dial that allows you to turn up the bass just by cranking the dial, that you can mount anywhere.
Here are some pics. Two sliders have nicks, as you can see in one photo. This is in mint condition otherwise. You can't really notice the nicks anyways. I paid over $300, but will sell for $100. I don't use it anymore.

Re: Car Audio, Phoenix Gold 2/3 Octave EQ, Nice!!
I am interested in this, but I need some more info. How well will it work on a 2 amp, single woofer setup? How well will it work to set it up, and control the bass and treble thru the deck? I love the concept, but have no experiance with them. So help a brother out.

A two amp setup, with one subwoofer is exactly how I used this EQ, and it worked GREAT.
I'm assuming that you have one amp for the sub, and the other amp for the rest of the system. That's how I had it setup.
There are three outputs, but you will probably only use two of them. There is one input. The main RCA output of your head unit (stereo deck) goes to the EQ. Then the High pass output of the EQ goes the amp for your regular speakers, and the low pass output goes to the sub amp. The dial that you hook up controls the bass output.
It's pretty simple.
As you can see from the specs below, this is about the best you can get.
Specs:
Distortion: 0.02% THD Max
Frequency Response: 10Hz-30kz +- 1 dB
Signal to Noise Ratio (A weighted) 105 dB
Dynamic Range: 113 dB
Crossover Frequency: 90 Hz
Crossover Slope: 24dB / Octave
Input Impedance: 5k Ohm
Output Impedance: 510 Ohm
Input Gain: -12 to 20 dB
Output Level: -20 to 0 dB
Maximum Input or Output Signal Level 8 Volts RMS
Power Source 10.5 to 15V, 13 W maximum
Dimensions: 11.25" X 8" X 1.75"
Sending you a PM so you see this.

My web service is moving servers around, and it's screwing up my hosting of pictures. If you would like pics, I can email them to you directly. Just give me your email address.
