Post Alpine CDA-D857 ?

I was planning on getting this HU and wanted to know if it is good enough for the set up I plan on going with.

Here is the set up:
2 12" subs JL w6 or Solobarics L7
Focal 165K2 for the front and rears
Lanzar or Zapco or phoenix gold amp to push the subs.
And maybe a cd changer or a EQ later.

What is also the difference between the 857, 852, 853 and the 855 models?

Any input is helpful !

The 852 and 855 were replaced by the 853 and 857. The 852 and 853 were the lower line, and the 855 and 857 are the upper line. I don't really recall there being any difference between the 852 and 853 and then the 855 and 857. The 855 and 857 are generally recommended.

Here's a link to basic features of the 853:

and here's a link to compare the 857:

I can't remember exactly what it was, but the 855 and 857 also had either a bass enhancer or treble enhancer setting that wasn't included on the 852 and 853 models.

Sorry that's all the help I can offer...maybe some current owners will chime in here shortly.
