Bearcat BCT-12 Police scanner/proximity alarm
I've got one of these... Do a search they have been named the best thing to have besides a physic.
I want $175 + shipping.
It picks up local, highway, DMV, weather, even air units.

the best thing i can tell you to do is do a google search for it
the exact model is BCT-12.. if your worried about cosmetics i can email you a picture of it if you decide you want it.
