Information on the Car, it is a 1997 30th edition Forest Green Camaro Z28 with abour 69,999 miles on it that has never seen winter. Car weighs in at 3050 with no driver. The bumper has been trimmed to fit a 29inch tire and is currenty able to run a 10.5W tire. The exterior of the car is in pretty good shape, it has the LS1 front clip on it now that could be repainted and use a bodyman to align it. The interior is very clean, has race carpet and cloth seats. It has power everything, doors, mirrors, trunk and also T Tops, 150 MPH Speedo Gauge.
Other details on the car, the rims and tires shown on the car will not be included, it will include 17 inch SS 10 spoke rims, please dont email me asking if they would be included because in no way can they be. The car has all emissions removed including cat, air pump and some emissions sensors. Its no worry though because with OBDII when you have emissions the car does not go on the dyno it just gets scanned for codes. All emission codes that can cause an alert have been removed during Tuning. The car also has heat and ac that will come with but the full heating system along with passanger side airbag have been removed but I still have it here. The car was never driven in the winter so the heat wasnt needed and in the summer I never used the AC so we removed it. The car is a healthy runner and on 110 octane runs a consistent between a 11.97s-12.00s@110 and on spray it has gone the best of a 10.42@128 on a 200 shot and consistant low 1.40s 60ft. I am selling this because Im taking a streetracing break and exploring new hobbys. Bidder would be expected to pay for shipping charges or if picked up that is fine but I would suggest a trailer because the gas mileage is a little under average =) The car has always been garage kept.
This has to be some record setting LT1 with the Stock 10 bolt and Trans.
With a little more tuning and some more weight shavings the car could be very close to going into the 9s.

yes it is technically its for the people that think 10 bolts are junk and for the people that think you cant spray more then a 100 shot at a stock short block.

So what your saying is that you beat all this stuff to hell and it is all probably junk that will break after a month of owning it. Last time I checked you sale stuff in the for sale section........who gives a dang how much you beat on your car.

If you use that "200-600" shot on that engine, that car probably just a lawn-mower by now.

a local guy ran a 200 shot on his stock short block and that was the end of that. I bet yours is on borrowed time. It would make a real sweet buy.

Do a search in the N20 Section and look for the "Cherry Bomb" Impala spraying 280 through his stock shortblock. That thing still runs like a champ!! See this is what Im talking about someone making a comment like "Its running on borrowed time". How do you know? Have you seen the engine? NO Its not running on borrowed time nor is it on its last leg. It is tuned perfect for it and all precautions are checked. Im not bragging or anything but it just annoys me when someone posts about running a shot on their shortblock and someone following back with it will blow up, it cant handle that. Or when someone posts a question about a 10 bolt and all these people follow back with 10 bolts are junk get a 12 bolt or 9 inch. The car was setup right and research was done, thats why it has lasted so long and still runs MINT!!! They dog these things so much just because of personal expierence. Most likely yours wasnt built right or done right. Example guys running 383s all the time in GMHT and they cant even get out of their own way, hell even 396s that barely crack into the 10s on spray!! I mean obviously someone didnt do their research because its a turd!! Alls Im saying is the one thread that I made is praising these components that the 4,540 other people have made a thread about bashing them!!

I have heard about this car when it came to Houston, it runs its ****ing ***** off. People were telling me it was a 396 solid roller car. lol But, its true what Jucins saying, keep race gas in it, watch what the cars doing and the stock short block will take a ton of gas. I have buddies cars that run ***** to the wall fast but you would be amazed how simple the set ups are. Autos are a bit easier on the 10 bolts than he six speed cars are though.

Its still a 10 bolt in the end and hes still running a stock short block.

Ya if I had a six speed Im sure it would be gone by now!
What I mean really is that its still a 10bolt, ya it has a gear and posi in it but its still a 10 bolt

Well my buddy wanted to bring his car out to run you, also an LT1, his car on the two stages of gas and yours on the gas would have been a bad *** race but that car was having issues. I asked couple of my friends, about your car and they were all saying how the LT1 had to packing some thing nasty. They were saying it had to be some sort of wicked *** solid roller car at least. Prety funny when its a Lt1 headed 224/236 car on dope. People tend to get on the defensive side when a car runs better than theirs with a lot less.
