I have a set of Hand ported LT1 Stage 2 Absolute Speed heads for sale.

They have 2.00-1.55 Manley valves installed and crane valve springs good for .650 lift.

they flow 288 at .600 lift.
These are realy nice heads , and will make a lot of power.

They are new never installed I paid $1,600 + core

I will take $1,500 + shipping with No core charge.

 

I'm interested. Would you consider putting them on ebay for some added security? I just wouldn't feel comfortable sending $1500 to a stranger on a leap of faith.

 

What kinda HP would these put out with a CC305? Could stock LT1 bottom end handle it?

 

It looks like these are pretty similar to an LE3. LE3 flows 275@.6 These flow a little better, but the CC205 is a little smaller than the LE cam. People are getting a consistant 410 out of an LE2 with the matched cam, so I'd guess you'd about 415 with a 305

 

thats some high flows for that sized valve...

 

Jay Owner of Absolute Speeds does great work,

 

that is about the max size valve you can go with on a stock casting LT1 head without unshrouding the valves, and then you can only go 2.02, 1.60. Not really worth the trouble.

 

Thats a lot of work , time and $$$ for another 8cfm

wasn't trying to insult you or anything. It's just that i can have my stock heads professionally ported locally for $500, Manley race flow valves are $180 from summit and a valve job at our local speed automotive shop is $175. Crane spring kit 10308 is About $130. Comes to $985.. they would be freshly done, AND i wouldn't have to pay for shipping. so to me heads are only worth $1000. It was just an offer, good luck in selling your heads.

Well for Your $1,000 your going to spend
You still are not getting Absolute Speed ported heads,

I am sure your local porter will do ok but, We have seen other port jobs maybe make 15 exta HP, Where Jay's Absolute speed Ported make 40-50 HP.

So you get what you pay for.

 

I paid $1,600 + a $300 core charge for these heads
