O.K. Had to try. So a hundred for the ecm, and how much for shipping to 62220. A stock tune is prefered.

 

i don't have any way of reprogramming the ecm, my truck has been sold for months now, I have the stock tune saved that came on the pcm when i received it, have all the software to program it, but sold the cable w/ the truck. I can send a cd w/ the ecm w/ all the goodies on it.

I'll ship it priority (2 day) for $100 to your front door if you don't mind not having the stock tune installed. put it on the bathroom scale, weighs approx. 5 lbs, so I figure 7 after packaging.

 

So if you send the cd with the stock tune, what would i need to transfer the original program?

 

you will have to get a computer w/ a serial port, laptop, desktop, whatever, and a aldl converter from www.carputing.com or www.akmcables.com OR you can send the ecm to Bryan Herter @ www.pcmforless.com or Ion Soltan @ www.madz28.com and they can reprogram it for you. Just depends if you just want a stock ecm tune, hp tune, or have the ability to tune the car yourself / datalog / read trouble codes. You can adjust for different size injectors, remove emissions, calibrate speedo for different size tires / gears, change rev limiter / speed limiter, trouble shoot sensors, change fan turn on temp, idle, spark / fuel curve, etc etc, I really enjoyed messing w/ all that and miss it.

 

Okay. I'll see thursday what my finances look like and I'll let you know.
