385ci LT1/LT4 shortblock $1100
385ci LT1/LT4 shortblock $1100
Very nice, used LT1 shortblock with 2500-3k miles. The engine is very clean (still had assembly lube on some of the bolts when I pulled the pan last week) both internally and externally.
This engine came in a vehicle that I purchased as a project. This would make a great engine for someone that wanted a mild/moderate NA budget shortblock.
Here are the details:
Shortblock
-385ci
-LT1 4-bolt block w/Billet main caps on #2, 3, and 4 mains
-Crower Sportsman 4340 5.7" connecting rods
-Scat cast crank (3.75" stroke)
-SpeedPro Hypereutectic pistons (.040" over)
-stock GM oil pan
$1100 for the shortblock
$475 for the rotating assembly
So, basically a great block/crank, and a non-forged crank/pistons. The engine ran very strong when removed last weekend.
Thanks, Jason

I am unable to take/send pics until I disassemble the shortblock. It's going to take a few days before I have the time to do so.
At this point, it looks like the shortblock is not going to sell so I will be planning to pull the rotating assembly out this week.
Thanks, Jason

Due to the interest from non-local's, I may be willing to ship the shortblock. I would prefer to sell the shortblock assembled since it is a waste to have to teardown a good, low mileage engine.
I can get good rates on shipping frieght since I'll be shipping from a business account.
Pics of the shortblock are available to those interested.

I am not entirely sure at this point. I purchased the car complete, but I was mostly interested in using some of the chassis/rearend components for my LS1 car.
At this point I am leaning towards putting a stock LT1/T56 back in the car for my wife to drive. She really likes the 4th gens

It would be great to sell it locally or to someone that could pick it up. Its a very nice engine and the buyer will not be disappointed.
I'd take $1000 for the shortblock. That is the absolute bottom dollar. The machine work to the block was that much alone including the billet caps.
