Only Stage I is offered at this time for the iron head's.Stage I Aluminum LT1/LT4 head's $575.00 plus $250.00 core charge.Stage II Aluminum LT1/LT4 head's $975.00 plus $200.00 core charge.(LT4 core charge is $450 or I can port your existing casting's).All stage 2 LT1/LT4 head's come with manley race flow valves and comp cam's dual valvespring's..other options available at additional cost.Thank's..if you have any question's shoot me an E-mail Z28VF@AOL.COM

Hey man... do you know what kind of flow #'s your E7TE's or E5AE's will flow? And what's the difference in your Stage I and II job? What lift would the spring setup support? I'm running a fresh forged 306 with a Crower roller cam and am looking at head options, upgrading within the near future..

How does this compare to your GT40's? Would the core charge cover the GT40s as well as the E7TE castings?

What intake would you recommend with this setup? I have a hogged out stocker right now that I have "worked" on and will be running 150-175 wet shot on this motor through a direct port fogger in the manifold.. hehehe

I have heard of plenty of power being made on ported E7TE's . It can be done..

Sorry for all the questions
Thanks man
Steve

Hey bro,
Well the stage 1 E7TE & E5AE head's are for minor performance..they are dissasembled, hot tanked, and magnafluxed..then receive a new standard valve job along with new valve giude seal's..then the valve job and bowl's are fully hand ported and blended then reassembled. intake flow's approx 13-15 cfm over stock and exhaust flow's approx 20-22 cfm over stock. These head's retain stock valves and spring's.

The stage 2 is the good stuff
the stage 2's are dissasembled, hot tanked and magnafluxed..then receive a 3 angle performance valve job along with surfacing of the head to increase compression 1/2 a point.Comp cams 987 dual valvespring's for cam's up to .600 lift along with matching retainer's and lock's...the head's then receive fully ported intake and exhaust runner's for optimum result's..there are a number of option's that can be had also..such as manley race-flow valve's stock size or up to 1.94/1.60 then additional port work and epoxy work for even more cfm.those are options though and will of course cost extra..shoot me an e-mail if you have any more questions z28vf@aol.com thank's there are no official flow number's due to extra option's and customizing for the stage 2's so flow number's will vary with options of course,The gt-40's will only be done by existing casting's..you bring me your gt-40's and I port them..they are getting more and more rare and the demand is going down also, so ford racing is thinking about quiting the production line of the gt-40 "p" head's due to lack of demand, but to answer your question the core charge on the gt-40's can be done..but it will be $270.00 per head because thats the factory pricing you know?...best bet would be to go to a junk yard and try to find some head's off of the v-8 fuel injected explorer and bring them to me as the core or as the head's you would like to have ported. That would save the both of us time and money along with the fact you would have some nice ported gt-40's at a cheaper price I would actually recomend the production cobra intake or the edlebrock RPM manifold..they would do nicely...thank's again,
Carter
