You knew this post was coming.

I did dyno only 256hp and am lookin for ways to improve that without diving into the engine. That WILL come later. Anything helps. Any suggestions? Do you know of anyone that sells SLP parts? Anywhere either than a dealer? Thanks.

Damn.
Makes me sad to hear that........
That means that I may be somewhere around that number also.
I guess it's good enough to take care of 99% of traffic out there.......

intake, exhaust, headers, electric water pump, roller rockers, and tuning should get you to around 300 rwhp.

first get it running properly (do a tune up)
next...
get some headers, electric water pump, K&N (cut out baffles) roller rockers w/better springs, maybe a new cold air unit (ss ones suck)
after that...
get a bigger cam (cc305 or hot cam) along with everything that goes with it, and some ported heads, comp type R-lifters, molly push rods etc....

= $$$ BLING $$$

For an Auto I'd go all bolt-ones + hi-stall converter + deeper gears + M/T ET Steets and go mid 12's in the 1/4.

He already has headers ont hat thing, he should be in the 270 hp range. Just change your plugs and wires.

I got SLP headers, Loudmouth, MSD wires, Bosh plugs, K&N, LT4 KM. I know the wires are crap. I've had alot of people say not to do the CAI and leave the ram air. I guess I should start with a couple of the cheap/free mods.

Stock LT1's range from 235-250, i say check the plugs/wires and yank the cat. Change the induction.

We got pretty much the same mods, less the induction, so you should be making the same amount as me at least. Also my run was with a bad MAF so I plan to put done more next time on the dyno. Should be making 280+ for sure.

I would suggest changing your plugs and wires then convert to OBD1 so you can tune the car. With only headers and a tune I'm trapping 105mph which is around 290rwhp.

My stock muffler had a hole rusted in it so I replaced it with a Magnaflow catback exhaust, put it on Harvey's Dyno and pulled 273rwhp. Your car is ram air your number might be off by 20. Modify your ecu program.

Gentlemen I realize now that any mods that cost any decent amount will have to wait. I have priorities like tires, a winter car/truck and others. God Damn have to be responsible and ****. Anyways, I appreciate the suggestions and i will definately follow up lots. Thanks.
