The coolant overflow is remarkably inexpensive. I have bought two and I don't think I paid over $40 for either. Be sure to shop around as I recall one dealer wanting $60 something and another like $36.

I just hope they are priced the same where you reside. You will notice that the replacement mount has more/better gusseting. I have had 3 camaros and all of them had broken battery mounts. The mounting lip on the 01 wasn't broken completely off so I cleaned and forced glue down into the fissure but expect that it too will need to be replaced. It really should be something GM fixes for free. A lose battery is unsafe and the rate at which these fail should have made it a recall issue imho.

 

local GMs charge an arm and a leg, if you want something from gm contact dal and even then your paying shipping etc.

 

And I didn't pay enough attention to see that he's in Canada. With the exchange and finding a fair dealer it is probably going to exceed my quote. Sorry for that. Tell us how you make out Jeff.
