What is the largest cam that..........

What is the largest cam that could pass air-care in an N/A LT1 set-up?...more specifically my engine. This set-up would have twin cats located very close to the header collector just for air-care.

Right now I have a CC305 (220-230-114) and I think I might try to go bigger than that...as long as I can pass air-scare.

get a custom cam

no bigger than 224 / 234 in duration .. but go nuts on the lift ...

i say keep the cc305 .. seek power elsewhere ... u'll make an extra 10-15 hp TOPS with a cam swap ... is it worth it ?

u know u need the crack bottle .. why fight it ?

if u want some BETTER ADVICE ? finish ur drivetrain and cage and safety first ... u dont need anymore power .. get what u can out of ur power as it is .. then go after more power ... u can be making high 11 second passes the way u are ..

it'll take a lot of practice and tinkering and money spending (more than u think trust me) to get the rest of ur car down the track optimally and safely ...

Thanks P-Diddy,

True....just looking at the future set-up and what it might be.

Spend more money?!?!?! This week I bought my center section and drag wheels...this hobby costs WAY too much! Still cheaper than drinking tough:P
