Teenage Friend Found Dead.
I went to high school with Mark Rempel.
We met in grade 10, became pretty good friends. I enjoyed his company as that he was a witty and smart guy. We went to some concerts together - he was a giving and not asking for anything kind of guy. Always willing to drive to events. He was never into drugs - he was really against them, although he did get into the sauce occasionally.
He was into some questionable strange stuff - but what teenager isn't?
Mark came from a decent background, stable family life - parents never divorced and always provided for him, has an older sister named Michelle.
During and after we finished high school I started working at Save-On-Foods doing night shift janitorial. Mark needed a job and so I got him one, the graveyard shift was right up his alley, worked together there for over a year with him.
We spent a great deal of time together, went snowboarding and rock climbing in our off time.
We kind of went our seperate ways when we were around 21, didn't have a falling out, we just didn't see much of each other due to different circumstances. He was going to collage to get his Pych degree and I was entering the workforce as a journeyman electrician and starting a family.
I saw him mabye twice since then and those times were over five years ago.
He was always a bit depressed and always like to hurt himself, but I really didn't think it would end for my old friend like this.
I wonder what caused such a horrible downward spiral?
I suppose I'll never know.

Is that the couple with the white 300zx? My friend has the exactly same car and was taking heat from the cops for it, but his has been parked for over a year. From what you say of him, he seems like a nice guy, and i hope you keep him in your prayers.

man im so sorry, nothing is more sad then when that happens im still really young as you all know and it happens so much especaly with young people....really tough matter to deal with. my best wishes and prayers are with you and his family. man....im really sorry....
