Interesting engineering Roy.

Looked goods to me. Got to say it must be pretty cool / wierd to see the turbo sitting there from behind.

If the ricers ask, you just tell them they are "sequential blowers".

"The turbo spins up at the back forcing blown air up to the front where another turbo spins it up again. i get about 50 #'s of boost"

IMO.:blah:

Ive seen two LS1 vids now and both cars seemed slow. I realize the numbers are there but there is just something lacking with the turbo setup.

well the guy barely shifts two gears. the owners seem to think there fast. the vids were more for the sound of the cars though not performance, but as you can see/hear not much spoolup time at all. and it is at 5 psi.

no exhaust, the sound produced is from the exhaust exiting the wastegate and out.

its emmisions legal, its even getting a CARB number very soon.

i should clarify, the sound is not thru the wastegate till its up past its boost level. the exhaust spins the impeller that spins another impeller that sucks in the air and forces it thru back to the engine. now that exhaust that spins the first impeller is is exited out the tail pipe. when you aircare it shouldnt build enough boost on the rollers to open the wastgate.

click the link for a explanationHOW IT WORKS wait till it loads,go to the bottom and click where it says "watch our product demo. click here"

can you run it with stock compression or is it better to lower it. and if possible can you make more than 5 lbs. with it? also do either of those guys have some 1/4 mile times?

yes you can run it with stock compression, but with any blower/turbo setup i wouldnt reccomend more then 8-9 psi with the methanol injection on a stock block. it is always better to lower the compression so you can run more boost. the turbos are capable of making over 600 rwhp, and 15 psi. no quartermile times yet, but im sure well get some this racing season.
