Re: STS Turbo system

Hey Roy, I'm wondering if my SLP sfc's will interfere with a rear turbo mount?

Re: STS Turbo system

yup, if its a bolt in one then you can remove the driver side sfc. the pipe acts like a sfc so you wont lose any performance. if its welded on then your gonna have to get it taken off at a shop.

Re: STS Turbo system

first hour of tuning with installation is free, $100 per hour after that, installation is $500 for basic install, $150 for meth kit, $100 for boost controller.

They are bolt-on sfc's but I don't like the sounds of removing one. I doubt the pipe will supply the rigidity and stiffness of a SLP sfc? I'm not willing to sacrifice some handling for more power. Turbo's run a little too hot under the hood and rear-mounts have moisture concerns around the intake filter. Any other ideas or who sells superchargers on this board?

Re: STS Turbo system

LOL, you havent seen the pipe how can you make the assumption that it isnt as strong as your SFC. ask any one whos got the ls1 kit how tough the pipe is....nonetheless if you want a new supercharger, go to tbyrne.com.

BTW whos says theres moisture concern by the intake filter?????
