I think I got screwed...I sold a HPP3 for a guy on this board..his post count was too low too sell..so I helped him out. In the beginning the programmer didn't work..so I had to find the car and put it back to stock..the car was Jonker Nissan in Langley...I did that and it was fine...so I sent it out and now he say's it won't take the VIN...I checked it 3 times and it was fine...even the owner check it and it was fine...so now what to do...

Thumbs up

Hypertech has a technical service department that troubleshoots any equipment they sell. Try giving them a shout.

On a side note - why are you at all liable??? Just get the money back from the original owner that you did the favour for, and give the money back to the upset buyer. Once you guys get the unit 100% functioning, you can sell it again.

Hope it works out .

The buyer has a right to be upset...I would...fact is I sold the HPP3...so it's my responsibilty. I've already taken care of it...the buyer is a nice guy and we have figured it out...thanks for your concern guys
