fine, i'll get it ceramic coated then
redi - strip charges $150 for a set of headers .. i doubt they'd charge much for a small CAI
the color of the material only determines its properties regarding to eflective heat .. such as UV rays (sunshine) or other sources of heat that are beingreflected from a source, not the heat thats in the air... so a black piece Vs a shiney piece, both absorb the same heat inside an engine compartment ... but if u put them under the sun, the black one will get MUCH hotter
the idea for having it ceramic coated was because the ceramic coating will resist absorbing ANY heat under the hood
