i've had people thinking mine was a mustang a few times...i was so disappointed

 

I had someone come up to me & my husband & said "Hey I have a car just like that & its for sale. Its a 92 z28 Convertable" & I was driving my 83 firebird at the time

Anyways went to look at the car it was in bad shape ended up talking the guy down to $2k for the car & then nicely told him it was a 90 RS V8 vert.

3 months later sold it to my brother in law for $3k.

 

All your cars are so cheap down there

well it looks nice all fixed up. thrid gen verts are deadly!!!

 

yea even more so since there were only 729 made that year of the 305 Rs Vets. He traded it in for a 70 Chevelle Vert This last winter. Last we heard the RS was in Texas.

 

I'm looking around for a good used rocket down across the line.
