CTS-V has the Corvette Z06 drivetrain. Has a quoted 400 HP and 395 torque just to keep Vettes owners happy. Some suggest that the headers on the V are different and a little quieter and that losses the 5 HP but basically the same engine.

Of course the V community is hoping to see the LS7 in the 2007 V car but candidly, given the wheel hop issue, I'm not really sure of the benefit of extra HP until that is dealt with.

I'm REALLY looking forward to some track time in the V though.

i checked it out and it looks like you're right LS6 it is

i figured if the 05 GTO gets the LS2...the CTS-V would too
