Twitch, Here are the specs on the SLP tuned suspension:

BILSTEIN ULTRA PERFORMANCE SUSPENSION SYSTEM

35mm front stabilizer bar
21mm rear stabilizer bar
Reinforced stabilizer bar brackets and special end-links
Bilstein shocks, recalibrated to SLP specs.
Progressive-rate front springs 223 to 448 lb.-per-inch
Progressive-rate rear springs 97 to 136 lb.-per-inch
Rear trailing arms with 1LE bushings
1LE panhard bar

Not bad at all, however there is still room for improvement with the control arms and panhard rod. Those spring rates are a bit softer then an Eibach Pro-kit setup and the shocks are tuned for softer springs compared to the HD's which are designed for stiffer setups.

Those spring rates make me cringe a bit . Thats way too much of a progression for me . I betcha it rides like a caddy over the bumps though

Thanks Draco for the specs. It's stiff enough to corner hard and soft enough for a smooth ride, it's the best of both worlds and who likes speed bumps anyways. My 02 hawk handles substantially better than my old 95 TA. I have to agree with bunker too about the weight distribution with the LS1 mounted in the RX7. I used to like the RX7, about 20 years ago.

I ALWAYS pass all RX7s with my little 5 litre '89 IROC because they spew crap into the air that makes me gag. I have never finished behind any Mazda in 4+ years of road racing, and that includes the 9-turn twisty track at MRP, and the *****-out Portland track where I top out in 5th at 5500 RPM. I used to like them too, until I drove one...

Hey Larry, thanks for showing me videos of you racing at the track. You took that RX7 no problem. I don't know how or why I ever liked those cars, they're butt ugly.

i know it looks so small but its decieving, the 2 rotors alone weigh as much as a whole sbc rotating assembly! and the way the motor works the block is like 3 times as thick in most places, its truly wierd.

1.you throw a full out import race car in the mix to show fast?
http://dragindon.com/Car_Specs.html try this on for size, runs 7.25's avg at 190+mph in the 1/4 mile and guess what! it was the fastest street car in canada! drives it on the street occasionally lol

2. saddest video ever IMO! still laughing about it lol when your tracer car is a stock 18 sec ride, even a dodge caravan could pull on it like that lol
