Just finished Doom 3 Very impressed

I played Doom 1 and I just spent about a month playing Doom 3 - on "Easy" mode I must confess. I had to use 'God' mode about three times.

VERY impressive game. I found the graphics to be incredable and the storyline was good as well.

I'm not joking when I say there were a few, literally scary moments. If you have played the game you know what I mean. I mean I was scared to death with some of the action.

Two BIG thumbs up.

I hear that the new Half Life is the new standard.

Hey Shaun...

Glad you enjoyed the game. I finished it awhile back ago and was just as pleased. At the start I played with headphones and the lights off on my 21' monitor. BIG MISTAKE!! LOL!!

Yeah doom was pretty good, i played it on hard and ABSOLUTLY had to use god mode.

Half life 2 is probabally one of the best games made, you have to get it.

Well the game is so dark to begin with, you HAVE to play in a dark room with the lights out. I have a 19 inch monitor but if I played this game in the media room (windowless basement room) on the 6 foot wide screen ie - LIFE SIZE. with the surround sound I'm SURE I would have soiled myself.

LOL

to me it was like any other 1st person shootum up game... granted it had some very impressive grafix and gameplay... but other then that it wasn't anything new.
