I'm an Uncle!!

April 17th 1:05am my sister gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby girl.

Its always great to hear of a new born but when it happens with in your family its a whole diferant experiance. I cant imagine the feeling of being a parent.

Congrats on being an uncle!

I hear what you're saying. My wife and I just had our son a month ago, and it is awesom. I'm just so fascinated by him...

Pass on the best to your sister. Not that I know her, but I still wish her the best.

Re: I'm an Uncle!!

congratulations... my sister has a 4 month old baby, and they're visiting us right now...

personally, i hate children, but must admit it's kinda cute nowadays (except when she puked on me)

oh yeah, best thing is, you can be the coolest uncle... that's my goal, i don't forsee me ever becoming a parent (as i don't want to be one), so this is my best parenting role

Uncle eh?
Good for you!

That's something I have yet to become - I'm a dad twice over and somehow my two married sisters haven't produced a little bugger yet.

Lol!

You know, when guys say that they won't ever have kids, etc... when you live in a country like this, it makes me sad. Here we have some of the best opportunities to raise massively intelligent, strong, fit kids (if you want - the tools are easily their, and we have the knowledge) compared to most every other part of the world. We can have the "best" people in the world here - seriously.

Yet people in our society are very hesitant to have kids.

Then you go to a country where the kids have EVERYTHING against them. No school. Not enough food - malnutrition. Will never see a computedr, let alone understand technology. Disease eveywhere. And what happens? They just keep plopping out the babies.

Seriously, I think it is our job (duty - lol!) to make babies and keep the world's intelligence and fitness level up. If you're smart and fit, have a kid! If you don't, only the dumb people will breed, and that will screw it up for all of us.

So tell that to the chick you meet in the bar next time. "Babe, it's our duty as intelligent people to get laid tonite."

That last part sounds like something Twitch would use to pick up hoochies at Java Hut
