I cover my car with storage insurance all year round and day permit it when I wish to use it.
My storage insurance has 10Mill in coverage though, it's not much more expensive and since I park it at my folks place with a bunch of their expensive stuff I don't take risks that way.

I went with 3 million this year and Ill probably do 5 million next year. I just read a couple articles where Icbc settled for 5 million each due to the fact that both were permently disabled from head trama injuries.
