HP Tuners Software
It is a good piece of tuning software, but it is a tad expensive at $500 usd + shipping. Also you can only get it for 98-02 Camaro/Firebird’s with the LS1. So if you’re looking for it for your car, you’re out of luck. You have to order it out of the US as I don’t know or believe anyone is a distributor in Canada. Probably best to order it directly from Hptuners.com if you get it. If you have time wait for EFILive flash scan V7 to come out. It should be out this December, It will probably be cheaper then HPtuners. Or you could wait until EFILive comes out and see if HPtuners drops there price.
Re: HP Tuners Software
What he said . HP tuners is going to be pretty weak when compared to the new EFILIVE V7 flashscan system. You have to purchase HP tuners from them directly also.
Re: HP Tuners Software
other then that the software is pretty damn good, the upload times are very fast, it doesnt burn out your pcm if theres an interuption in upload. matts using it for jeepos car ask him how he likes it.
Re: HP Tuners Software
Well it looks like EFILive finally got their act together and is finally going to release EFILIVE V7 flashscan in December, but from the looks of things it’s not going to actually ship till mid December. Also if you’re a first time buyer you’re going to be paying more for it than HP tuners. First time users will pay $699 usd for EFILIVE V7 flashscan. And the software is locked to the first two pcm’s that you tune; the only good thing is that it is not restricted vehicle year like HP tuners. But if you go with HP tuners it now sells for $499 usd, and as of November 14 you get two vehicle types. (ie you can get another year of the same vehicle or a completely different vehicle.) Also with HP tuners you are not restricted to a set number of vehicles you can tune, you are only restricted to the model year of the software that you purchased.
