help from local guys
so, neither myself, nor a local mechanic can seem to fix my problem...
97 3.8L camaro, recently, i seem to have lingering revs, when i put in the cluth when driving, the revs climb an ounce, also, when i am moving, but in neutral, and tap the gas, the revs climb, as they should, then jump up 300 or so rpm...
i read that this could be the IAC, well, i changed it, and cleaned out its chamber --- no dice!
i took it to a local mechanic.... NO DICE!!!
i'm lost,
after this all started, i have changed plugs, wires, cleaned air filter, new fuel filter, new pvc (a general tune up)..... but i dunno what it is, my throttle body is clean, so i cannot think what it is, and honestly, this is costing me about 100kms per tank, and is royally annoying me now...
any input?

Re: help from local guys
Seems like a small prob, a simple scan could help find the problem unless the mechanic doesn't know what to look for cuz this kind of stuff does not ever send off an SES or trouble code because it's nothing that would actually be easily identified by the pcm.
Either way, my first guess if you hear no pops/backfires, would be an intake leak somewhere.

i have looked and posted on v6 boards, but not much response, as there aren't as many members/views...
i'll try one last shop, a more 'performance' shop, to see if they can see anything... i just wish i could do it myself (hate paying other ppl to do stuff for me)
thanks, though
