Re: Dyno Day who's coming?

yeah but jeepos car still has stock plugs, messed up maf, and dynoed at 300 rwhp initailly for a baseline(before turbo). so i think the plugs, maf, injectors and tune he should see well over 400 rwhp on 5 psi. i think the 393 may be correct. but congrats on the numbers, get that maf replaced and then you can really give it on the street! all thru stock cats and 100% emmisions legal and improved gas milage!

Re: Dyno Day who's coming?

Excuses, excuses, you're all just upset that my LT1 dynoes higher then all you LS1s through a 12 bolt.

How come my numbers never change?

Dyno errors are minimal not 10 rwhp off here and there. I realize its upsetting to see an LT1 dominating but what can you do?

And also, do not compare american horesepower numbers, something in the air there.

Jeepo's numbers are good for the mods through stock cats and a broken MAF.

My dad's car ran numbers which are more then what is to be expected so highly doubt the dyno was reading low, unless somehow my dad's car with a tiny smaller then F-body cam can make more then 285rwhp.

Also, howcome noone ever complains expect you F-body guys all the time? Excuses are for your mothers, they are the only ones that wanna hear it

A good comparisson in Jazz, when I dynoed my 420rwhp, his vette dynoed just after me his 327rwhp, the week before he dynoed 327rwhp, and each time was about 4 runs, when then leaned her out and made 338rwhp.

No dyno erros fellas, I think the ignition wire they were mesuring from was off, because once Shane hooked it up to another wire which through off the numbers, or your tranny is starting to go Chriss.

Wow. Blimey Matt. Cover me head, paint me toes red, and call me Fred! I didn't see this thread being a LS1 vs LT1 discussion. I think I'll opt not to respond to that portion of your post at this time.

On the other matters:

I think Jeepo's numbers are fine, especially if he has a failing maf and is simply running off the VE table as a result (which the LS1 pcm defaults too when the MAF sensor fails). That would sure screw up the A/F, I believe. And, not having a pulley, better plugs, and all that other general stuff - I would sure hope that helps to improve things. I know it will. TR6's should be nice for boost, though he wasn't having any detonation, was he?

I am not too sure if your dyno results #'s have changed. I'm not too current on your past runs. But just because it doesn't happen to a car, doesn't rule it out.

And, of course, I was only making a suggestion that Jeepo may get even better numbers on another day, even if the SAE numbers are used. It does happen to people. Peak dyno numbers aren't really the most useful thing, only really being useful with respect to showing improvements from one change to another.

I am keeping my eye on my tranny, for sure. There are no signs of failure to date, but with my TC and such, even with a good cooler, its not a matter of IF the tranny will get hurt but WHEN (ouch!).

Re: Dyno Day who's coming?

LOL, I'm just fooling around.

As for Jeepo, I know I changes his VE table when we were tunning ofcoarse to richen her up quite a bit.

A few launches on that A4 and I dunno, 410rwhp is quite a bit I must say for a stock A4 from what I read.
