Hey they **DO** have those fancy heads coming out for ls1's , do a search on ls1.com . . . I think 4000 usd was the tag, I just read that thread

yes but when your talking crazy all out drag motor that isnt the deciding factor, prot velocity gives you torque band, the 32''s will have a better tq band but hp=flow but when you got a slicked, geared 4500 stall race car torque band means ****, only peak tq matters to a racer, on the other hand, for street driving those heads would rock

Indeed you'll need an intake, just put a bucket with a lid on there, it'll do, attach the bin to the throttle cable.

But no aparently the LT1/LT4 intake does a great job, but Hogan would be better obviously, then again you can run a 48mm TB with heads/cam & be ok, just look at Craig

craig has little mexican workers shoving air down his 48mm's throat . i cant afford that luxury .. my engine has to suck its own air in i saw 8 of them myself !! working hard
