Big Block Or Small Block

well i want to build up an engine outside of my car and keep my car as a daily driver.
so i was wondering which is better for a street car that sees alot of track time and i was thinking like an 11 second car.
plus what gears should i get 4.11's ? or what.

whats your budget? You can get a 42x ci with a resleeved ls1/ls6 or just start with a C5R block.. I've read people hit about 500 rwhp/tq with relatively mild setups with these... of course it'll probably be the most expensive..
