auto-x event on the 22nd
Yes, you get a guaranteed 6 runs (unless of course it's too busy, in which case you'll get five). You can also sign up for fun runs at the end of the day if time is permitting - last time I had eight runs myself and I loaned my car out to other people for a further 10 runs (yes, my car did 18 runs that day)
BTW... there should be lots of footage taken at this event also if you're looking to get some video of yourself tearing the course up

Dude, I never normally take a corner in that thing, the suspension has good strength to weigh ratio so i'll be fine, dont worry about me, worry about your self, I'll take on your Old's muhahahhaa. muhahahahha. seriously though
Hang on guys, this event is a somewhat different format, the UBCSCC (of which I am an exec) is doing an event with another club on campus, the ACL, and their members will get priority.
We probably won't open more than 40 spots to people, so it will be tight. I'll post up as soon as I find out when the pre-reg happens... I'd love to see more f-bodies come out, and Jared (the prez, with a fox-body stang) would love to make fun of you guys.
blue, do you mean a co-driver or just a passenger? We don't let novices ride with novices, there's just too many safety issues there.
$20 to join the club, $20 for the event.
People start arriving at 7:00, you will have to double-check when the gate closes. Be very sure you get there in time because once the gate closes, no more cars are allowed in. We are very strict about this, once again because of safety. We need to inspect all the cars to make sure they are safe, and we need to make sure everyone knows what to do on course, and where they are going.

The car was a write-off but it was evidant that the driveaxle had broken, folding the wheel under the car causing it to flip.
Fortunately he had a harness bar and was wearing a harness so he was fine but I looked at the car and asked why would ANYONE think they can push a disposable car like that and not expect disaster.
