Talking auto-x event on the 22nd

What a perfect warm up event for our cruise on the 23rd .. i know the mustang cruise is on the 22nd ... but the auto-x bug has bit my a$$ pretty hard so if my cars a rollin .. i'll be auto-xing

for those who never tried it . U HAVE GOT TO COME OUT !! im sure craig and houman will share my opinion .. im tellin u guys, i had to drive a 2.0 golf with 22 lbs of torque and 19 wheel hp and i had so much fun it wasnt even comparable to any street driving u can ever do

im gonna try to have my car out in tip top shape and ready to rock

i know craig and houman will come, Todd bust out the Y body... shaun, u should be rollin by then (if not, im borrowing ur R comps )

just one thing, i gotta check to make sure its an open event hopefully it is so we can all participate

LMAO

Hopefully you will have better luck then me getting the rest of the f-body crowd out. If you recally I raved about the first 3 autoX events of the Slush Series last fall, but no one else even attempted to come out except Zedzag.

But yes, I definitely concur that autoX is the ****.

So whats the fastest times that F-Body's are pulling down?

It looks like Craig had the fastest time of the day with a 37.1 lap...

The fastest of the day was a 95 Mustang?! with a 33.7

And there you are Payam with a 37.4 in the golf... Nice drivin dude

I can't wait to give it a try!!

Should be great fun!

Holy **** I might actually be able to make it this time!

SID- PM me and let me know when you are available to trade the rear bars and I'll give you my old springs too. I have most evenings off for a while.

The mustangs are very fast. The President and and VP of the UBC club both drive mustangs and they are always on top.

Those times you see are PAX times which means a handicap was applied to each car's fastest lap time based on the car's class. This is what allows POS cars to compete with the faster cars.

I wasn't very happy with my performance, but Payam did well. Houman had fun, but will learn to take it a little easier next time out .

You do NOT need a helmet, but it's nice to have one and avoid using the loaners.

Any snell95 or higher helmet may be used, you can get them at Mopac for around $130
