Any1 close to PDX w/PCM4less soft?
Any1 close to PDX w/PCM4less soft?
If there's anyone within 50 miles of PDX that would be willing to help out a newbie by demo'ing PCM4less or similar software, I'd be greatly appreciative.
Going on a CA road trip soon, & with the hi temps we've been having this year, I'd really like to check & see what the car's doing and maybe get those stinkin fans reset to a lower temp. I'm willing to trade a case/bottle of your favorite libation or ? for your time.
I'm not tryin to get out of buying the gear here, I've already got the laptop, just want to see how the software works before I buy it and the cables (for which there is currently no $, thx to DMS & their awesome GP prices!). The car's running great btw, no codes or SES light, but I want to see how my ignition & fuel systems are doing before I go south. It's the '95 Z LT-1, stock except FAIPK & 160*stat.
I'm available any morning or all day Sunday & Monday.

Bobby?
thanks for the reply Mike. Havent had a chance to get out your side of town to see you yet, but planning on it as soon as the wallet fills back up. In fact, I haven't really met any of the locals yet, but if Bobby reads this, I hope he'll drop me a line.
cheers,
Ian

Excellent! I'm in orchards area. How do you feel about giving me an intro to using the software, at your convenience of course? Anything I can offer in return?

I can't find my @(*$&^@*$% cell phone (which is also my house phone) but I'll be home all day today (Sat)
408 NE 157th Ave.
From the corner of 164th Ave and SE 1st St head west.
Turn right at the 4 way stop. (Summerfield Homes)
Turn right on NE 4th St.
Turn left on NE 157th Ave.
I'm the house on the corner on the left.
If I'm not here head around the corner and go up five houses. On the left is a house that will have a black/gray F150 and/or a silver Civic hatchback. That's my buddies' place. Look for my car. Pic
If I find my phone I'll give you a call.

It's a 95 Z...like yours, with a 30th Anniv. stripe kit from Speed Inc.
I'm semi unemployed right now. I help out my father-in-law with his refridgeration business, but I'm usually only working 2-3 days a week. Tomorrow (Sun) I'm helping my in-laws finish moving. Monday I don't anticipate doing much though.
Or we could always get a group together and get something going tonight. Between my buddy and I, we have about 300lbs of the finest tasting grain-fed steak you'll ever come across and we need to BBQ some of it.

Not sure my PM is working right. Got your query asking if I was online, but I was away from my terminal for a while. I assume you had someone try to call you to see if you could locate your phone yes?
