Re: Aircare help.

it'd help if you told us whats wrong with your car, or what engine you're using (ie. any modifications that affect emissions)

otherwise, inflate your tires more, go for a spirited drive beforehand, and use the highest grade gas

its either a 95 z28, or a 96 z28 so its a lt1, single cat or dual cats, i dont think hes even bothered to go thru yet.

basically if you got no SES lights, and you get decent milage, and you got a cat/cats you should be fine, but without a readout none of us will know, some of us have hook ups with local mechanics who have readers and can do a pre aircare test for us, i suggest you make some friends with mechanics with emmisions readers

Re: Aircare help.

the cars completely stock, got cats, nothing wrong with the car, just looking for input on basic things to do such as the high grade gas, tire inflation ( dont understand that one) ect, just trying to pass with flying colors.

Re: Aircare help.

over inflated tires will take less effort on the rollers, less load, therefore less emmisions....i think thats how it works
