oh yeah!! It has a shift kit in it too. I'm not sure what stage or brand. It was put in b4 I bought the car. Its a mild kit but you can feel its there.

I've tried selling for $500 but got only one call

I originally was trying to sell it with the TPI 305 motor as a package but no-one wanted it.

I think I'm just gonna part the motor out and sell what I can. Thats the only way I can get rid of it.

 

Nice, my son and I did a swap on his 85 TA from a T5 to a T56, he loved it. As for your tranny, go back up to 500 bucks, it is worth every dime! ummmm, the 305....... well, tell you what, I am going fishing in 2 months and I seem to have misplaced my anchor.........

Actually a hundred bucks should sell that thing, it might even have a roller cam and lifters in it. Have you checked? Do you know how to by just removing a valve cover?

well... I originally posted on here for $450 so thats the price! I dont want anyone complaining on me changing the price. If you see the add in this forum the price is $450. I'm gonna put it in the buy & sell again for $500.

You think I should list it a little more? Or is $500 good enough?

 

$500 for a good working 700 with a torque converter is a fair deal to both parties. I am not sure, but it may even have the ten vein pump and the larger spraug in it!


Hey, here is a wild idea. Advertise the motor for $500 and include the tranny! hehhehe!

Or keep the tranny in case you ever want to go fast and not miss shifts.
