A reintroduction

I have wanted an F-body for thirty years.

Bought my first F-body yesterday.

It is a 94 Z28 slicktop with an auto and a locked motor. I’m trying to figure out if I can get it working or I will need to immediately rebuild it. I’ll be posting a video soon to try and get some advice.

It is apparently a Venezuela export.

If I can get it back up and running, I plan to get it restored, and put a T56 in and maybe T-tops.

Re: A reintroduction

Nice! That’s my favorite color.

Pull the spark plugs, remove the serpentine belt, and see if you can turn the crank with a socket wrench and a big breaker bar. Something you can put at least 100lbft into. If not, spray some PB blaster into the spark plug holes, then try again in a couple hours. If it still doesn’t go, repeat several times over a few days.

If/when you get sick of that, it’s time to pull the motor and tear it down.

I’ll post any updates in the other thread, but I am paying with sweat and skin.
