Hi, and welcome to the site. Congrats on the great looking 93Z. I have one myself and at about 125k miles I decided to pull the engine for a rebuild even though it still ran perfect. It was starting to get a small oil leak and I wanted to beef it up anyway.

When I pulled the engine and tore it down I decided to plasti-gauge the bearings and mic the cylinder bores to see how well it was holding up. The bearings, both main and rod were within specs for what you should have with new bearings so clearly not much wear there. All 8 cylinders were perfectly round and mic'ed (my made up word for checking the cylinder bores with a telescoping gauge and micrometer lol) at 4.00 exactly so really I could have put a new crosshatch pattern on them and loaded up new rings on the pistons.

I did run mine on synthetic oil and was meticulous about the maintenance so I really wasn't surprised but the engine was so clean and in such good condition I could have buttoned it back up and ran it for another 125k most likely.
