Proud new owner of a 93 Z

Hi!
I just purchased my first Z28 (93). After driving it for one day, I could NEVER go back. We've been fixing a few things here and there to make this one a keeper. This is a great information site. Thanks for the help it's been already.

I completely agree. I'm waiting to show off to my Mustang-enthusiast friend at work tomorrow, ha ha!

Should be fun, mine beat out a '98 ish GT with only 7 cylinders firing. What does your friend own?

94 GT 5spd. Mine seems to be in good condition and well maintained. We just gutted the cat yesterday, so maybe a little more horsepower (and a tad louder "vroom vroom" sound...) I'm thinking no problem!

Hah, previous owner loosened my cat. Hooked it back up and I lost at least 10-15 hp =(

How much did you end up spending on it and how does it look?

$2200. Overall, it's looks pretty dang good. The paint is a little faded on the top just from age and it needs a headliner, but that's about it. I'll post a pic. I was going to upload one to the profile anyway.

Auto. Unfortunately I'm "vertically challenged" so auto is easier. 197K and still going strong.

Smile 93 Camaro

Welcome to the forum and nice ride. The LT-1s seem to ride well into the 100,000s, and some into the 200,000s. Thats a far cry from the 80s Camaros. Anyways, enjoy the car, I know you will. I own a 95 Z28 and still feel like a little kid everytime I jump into, lol.
