New Member 94 Z28 Convertible
Re: New Member 94 Z28 Convertible
Welcome to CamaroZ28.com ! ! !
Great looking ride, very clean and unmolested for a 25 year old model. With 94 being the first year for the 4th Gen convertible, only about 10% of the Z28’s were ‘verts. Also good to see another LT1 owner on the site. Seems like we're mostly the ones who hang out here. We're here to help any way we can.

Nice car! From the pictures, it appears to be a Bright Teal Metallic (37U paint code) with a beige cloth interior? According to a book written using CompNine data, it would be one of 272 Z28 convertibles built in 1994 that color. If the beige cloth interior is correct, there were only 7 Automatic and 1 Manual convertibles with that interior option. Congratulations on your new purchase.
Re: New Member 94 Z28 Convertible
It’s the grey interior. I don’t know if that makes it more rare or more common. And it’s an automatic. Was built in November of 93. According to the door sticker.
Re: New Member 94 Z28 Convertible
When I went back to check how many had a gray cloth interior and I realized the production totals I gave before were for a base Camaro convertible and not a Z28. There were 470 Bright Teal Metallic Z28 convertibles with 206 having a Graphite cloth, 218 with a Medium Gray cloth and with a Medium Beige cloth and a automatic transmission. There were 9 with a Graphite cloth, 9 with a Medium Gray cloth and 5 with a Medium Beige cloth and a manual transmission. Sorry for the mistake. Low production numbers none the less.
Re: New Member 94 Z28 Convertible
I would agree, it's gray in color. The lightness in the color of the plastic trim panels is what made me think the interior was beige. Because of this, I assumed the interior was beige because the later 4th generation models panels were either a dark gray, graphite or black unless it came with a beige interior.
Re: New Member 94 Z28 Convertible
One of 218 still isn’t to bad. I bet most of the other 217 aren’t in as good of shape or as low miles. Lol. Only 65,000. I’m going to get it buffed and polished in the spring to rejuvenate it.
