New here

How's it going? The names Michael and clearly I'm new here. Over the weekend I picked up not only my first camaro but my first Chevrolet. A little information about the car. It's a 1975, I got it for free, has a th350 trans that has only 100 miles since it was rebuilt. The motor has issues, the rockers will not stay tightened. It's black and the body is pretty darn straight. Interior is pretty bad, needs new seat covers and carpet as well as dash. This will be my first American car. I have owned imports for the past decade, lowered and road course racing. Looking to do the same type of thing but not as extreme.

Re: New here

Welcome to CamaroZ28.com ! ! !

Always good to see another member join the Chevy family. We're sort of light on 2nd Generation members, but we should be able to help.

Re: New here

1st and 2nd Gen engine questions can go in "Classic Engine Tech". Trans and the rest of the driveline can go in the "Drivetrain" forum, under "1967-2002 Specific Technical Discussion".

If I see a topic that will fit better in a different forum, I will move it to the correct forum for you, and leave a link in your original post to help you find it. Really, all you need to put in the "Classic Engine Tech" forum is the engine topics. The rest will fit in the various forums under "1967-2002 Specific Technical Discussion". Just be patient when you post, because there seems to be a diminishing number of members who are familiar with the 1st and 2nd Gens.
