Hi everyone. I just bought my first Camaro on Monday night and I'm really excited to get to work on it. It's a 1980 z28 with the 350 stock. I believe everything is stock on it. Eventually I would like to restomod it. So...what would you guys recommend I do first with it? The performance is decent and the body and frame are in good shape. I'm just curious to see what everyone's idea's would be. I have some but need some more knowledge before I go any further with it. Thanks, Mike

 

Start with the basics tune up the engine , change fluids , filters, brakes etc
just so you know its a sound ride.....get the exhaust sounding good headers , muffler , take care of any rust that has developed over the years

Thanks guys. Luckily, there isn't much rust on it. A little here and there. I'll start with a tune up, tires, power steering pump is needed. Other then that, it rides great and the steering is tight. Looking forward to getting to work on it.
