Hello!!

Im am so pumped I found this site!! Cant wait to get my car super tuned. I put new gaskets on everything and it runs really good!! It is the 5.7 TPI and I know everyone trashes these engines but i dont care. I was lucky enough to find this car pretty close to me and no one has touched it!! The head gaskets were shot. I would like to beef this thing up and Im sure they're plenty of feeds that I will have to look up to see what works the best with a tight budget. I want to keep this thing close to stock as possible and completely wreck the gas mileage. I know, I know I'm asking for it all!! HAHA. Any ways any one with a similar car that can help me out would be greatly appreciated!!

Re: Hello!!

Welcome to CamaroZ28.com ! ! !

Wow... that car is beautiful. Treat it well.

We have some 3rd Gen members, but not as many as we would like. For some reason, the main interest in the F-Bodys is 4th Gen, and in particular the LT1 engine. While some of that tech is applicable to the L98, not all of it is the same. But, we will make every effort to help you out. A set of 3.73 gears and a high stall converter would really wake it up without going into the engine. The L98 actually makes more low end torque than the LT1, but it runs out of breath much faster. Improved breathing is the key.
