Got myself a 96 Z28.
Just picked up last week a 96 Z28 with automatic trans. She had an oil leak, but one new vibration dampener and seal later, she's running like a champ. Needs a few odds and ends fixed up, but is in great body and running condition.
Guy I bought her from didn't do the mods, but she already has a set of Edelbrock Headers, a Flowmaster Cat, nothing back from the cat (Looking to put one on soon), a K&N Cold Air Intake and a shift kit of unknown manufacture. I'm looking forward to doing a few more performance mods myself.
This is pretty much my first car in the performance category. Never really cared about cars until about a year ago, and now I'm enjoying my time spent under the hood (Likely screwing stuff up more than I'm fixing it) as much as driving it. Found her on craigslist and she fits the perfect catagory of quick, stylish and not too expensive when I screw something up. I'm pretty new to any kind of auto mechanics though, so I'll probably be bugging you folks for alot of help as I stumble along.
If anyone else is in Yuma AZ, let me know!
see ya round folks.
