Re: 93 Z28 T56 running well.....
I opted to increase compression to 11.5 /1. By installing a balanced, forged rotating assembly. 3.75 crank. And have the ability to add a 200hp shot of nitrous later.

Also I wanted to add. I’ve had my car for 28 years!!!! It’s been keyed before, someone stuck something in the fender well and pried my bumper, and the alarm used to go off all the time. But I made it to the car shows.....

Thanks, ya I flew off the handle a few times, during a previous build. But I have it all working well now.
Just did an Opti swap this spring. Fresh AC Delco....
I cleaned the TB later. I was getting a hard start/backfire. Then changed my coil and connector... Did I mention the last two digits in my VIN are “28”!!!

My machine shop did a great job taking it .30 over. Ring end gap checked out. He found something not lining up on a main cap and fixed it. I double checked with plastic gauge...

I installed a Denon CD player with 24 times processing, tuned for AM/FM reception. Paired with an Alpine DSP and MB Quart components....

Re: 93 Z28 T56 running well.....
Went for a test and tune cruise. When I got back, a mouse appeared on the windshield, then hoped back down the hole at the base of the wiper. “Rat Fink”?
I never drive it’s a statue.
milage: 89,866
rebuilt engine and clutch assembly, around 5k ago.
everything is working as it should. It’s all been replaced with AC Delco gaskets and sensors.

Re: 93 Z28 T56 running well.....
I took it to the raceway right away after a quick engine break-in and I got all the lithium assembly lube out of the oil pump I packed it with.
The sun was setting and the cool air started to drop onto the drag strip.
A mustang pulled up beside me. I did a little forty yard burnout and the race official jumped behind the wall.....
A guy walks down from the stand on my side and holds up a big roll of money.
Then a guy on the mustangs side nodded his head.
I beat that mustang by a bumper!!!!
